Please inform DMS if you are suffering any flu-like symptoms and get tested at a COVID-19 clinic.

DMS will continue to provide quality care to our participants and thus will be following the current NSW government guidelines.

What is DMS doing during this Covid-19 Pandemic?
  • We will follow the regularly updated NSW government guidelines
  • Until further notice, all our staff will wear surgical masks during home visits and outings
  • Outings to hot spot areas will not be permitted
  • Maintain social distancing (minimum of 1.5m) when out of the participants home
  • All staff will use sanitiser before, upon and after their work shift
  • All staff and participants will be encouraged to wash their hands and use sanitiser regularly
  • All home care service providers will maintain vigilance
  • Staff who experience fevers (37.5°C or higher) or any covid-19 flu-like symptoms, however mild, including fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste, loss of smell, congestions, muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and appetite loss will be excluded from home visits and will required to undertake a covid-19 test
  • During the last 14 days, any person in close contact with a person confirmed with covid-19 or living in a household with a person who is in close contact or otherwise is self-isolating.
  • Rapid notification for staff, families, participants, their carers and the Public Health Unit via 1300 066 055.
